About the War of Markets

War of Markets is a feature of future.fun, a non-custodial, on-chain leaderboard and reward layer that measures and celebrates verifiable performance across independent prediction markets.


Participants connect a wallet and trade directly on supported platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi. future.fun never custody funds, processes bets, or executes trades on behalf of users. The War of Markets only observes publicly available trading activity, computes performance metrics, and distributes rewards based on transparent scoring rules.


The system ranks participants using objective, verifiable metrics such as accuracy, realized P&L, and trading volume. Rewards are allocated according to the final leaderboard at the end of each competition period.


The platform is designed to celebrate skill and data-driven forecasting. Participation is opt-in, transparent, and based on wallet-level proof of activity.

The World Cup of Prediction Markets is a special activation inside the War of Markets, running periodic competitions that bring together forecasters from different platforms in one global leaderboard.

Important Legal Terms and Eligibility

1. No custody, no trading, no betting

future.fun does not accept or hold user funds, does not provide any trading venue, and does not enable users to place bets through its site or smart contracts.

All trading activity used to calculate leaderboard results occurs exclusively on independent, third-party platforms.

future.fun functions only as a read/compute/distribute layer that indexes public market data and issues performance-based rewards.


2. Skill-based, verifiable, and free to enter

Participation is completely free.

All rewards are based on transparent, skill-based performance metrics derived from public market data.

No outcome is determined by chance, random draw, or lottery mechanism.


3. Wallet linking and registration

To compete for prizes, participants must link the wallet or market account used for trading and register through the official competition form.

By registering and linking an account, participants confirm that their data accurately reflects their activity on the supported markets.


4. Participant responsibility

Each participant is fully responsible for:

  • Complying with the terms and conditions of the third-party platforms they trade on.

  • Meeting any tax or legal obligations that may arise from participation or rewards.

  • Ensuring the accuracy of their linked wallet and associated data.

future.fun does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice and assumes no responsibility for a participant’s compliance or outcomes.


5. Data reliability disclaimer

There is a margin of error in data presentation - especially on Kalshi due to its centralized nature.

Leaderboard data may not be 100% accurate at all times.

Kalshi and Polymarket may also impose limits on user data visibility or trading activity, which can affect leaderboard updates.

Users on Kalshi must manually make their trades, positions, and PnL public; otherwise, they will not appear on leaderboards.

Platform endpoints and APIs may change or experience downtime at any time, which may temporarily affect leaderboard accuracy.

future.fun takes zero responsibility for any data inaccuracies, delays, or failures originating from third-party platforms.


6. No guarantee of rewards or outcomes

Participation does not guarantee a prize.

Leaderboard positions and reward pools may change due to technical issues, corrections, or disqualifications.

future.fun disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for losses, missed opportunities, or damages resulting from participation.


7. Limitation of liability

future.fun, its contributors, and affiliates assume no responsibility for:

  • Any inaccuracies or failures in data sourced from third-party platforms.

  • The availability, functionality, or continuity of external APIs or services.

  • Any financial loss, missed rewards, or indirect damages arising from participation or platform use.

Use of future.fun and participation in the War of Markets is entirely at your own risk.


8. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and all related activities are governed exclusively by the laws of the jurisdiction where future.fun is operated.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in that jurisdiction, with no class actions or public litigation permitted.


9. Privacy and data usage

future.fun processes only the minimum data required to compute leaderboards and distribute rewards.

This includes wallet addresses and publicly available market data..

All data usage is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
